The Athlete's Source was born of four master shoe fitters with 100 years of retail shoe experience.  The store is in the former location of New Balance Bethel, which opened in the summer of 2007.  The Athlete's Source opened in April of 2017.  We decided the community deserved an "old school" family shoe store combined with a specialty running store.

Erik Tonner, Brian Maciel, Chris Carlucci and Jay Holland are partners in The Athlete's Source.  They work closely with many medical professionals in the area and the entire staff at the store will treat every customer with the greatest service that will remind you of how it used to be and how we feel it SHOULD be.

We measure your feet EVERY time, we ask you questions about your feet and questions about what you will be using the shoes for.  We analyze your gait and then we make suggestions based on your foot type.  This process is integral to getting the proper shoe and the proper fit.
